Alkali-soluble polyester chips COPET

Alkali soluble polyester is a kind of polyester used in Sea-island spinning, It was developed successfully by our former state-owned enterprise in 2002.It`s a kind of differential polyester. By  adding the third monomer for hydrophilic modification and the fourth monomer for glass transition temperature modification,we successfully pushed it to the market after several years of tests. With the imported products replaced in 2004,it has become the best selling product in China. The product has the advantages of high intrinsic viscosity,excellent spinnability, low thermal degradation and clear cross section. It is used as the marine phase in the island spinning method. Using the island spinning method, it can be made into a single filament microfiber of 0.03 dtex.with good strength and adsorbability.

Product Features：


It is mainly used as the marine phase in spinning island filament. It has the advantages of excellent spinnability, good molding and clear island interface. The island filament has the advantages of high strength, moderate splitting and good stability. And the end products have exellent fabric styles with good dyeing properties. It is very suitable for island POY and colored sea-island composite fiber.


It can be used to produce microfiber island filament POY, FDY and island staple fibre.
